Dr Shamim Samedani
Dr Samedani, Gastroenterologist, was born and raised in Hobart. He graduated with Honours from the University of Tasmania (UTAS) with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2010. He completed Physician training through the Royal Hobart Hospital before undertaking specialist Gastroenterology training at the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital. He completed two years of advanced endoscopy training with Fellowships at the Royal Perth Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Dr Samedani consults across all aspects of Gastroenterology and has special interests in endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, and Barrett’s oesophagus.

High quality gastroscopy and colonoscopy, including bowel cancer screening
